Racehorses Enrich and Ultimo Impress in Tuesday Morning Workouts at Bengaluru Turf Club

BENGALURU, Sept 1 – Two rising stars in India’s horse racing circuit, Enrich and Ultimo, showcased strong performances during morning workouts at the Bengaluru Turf Club on Tuesday. The track session, part of regular pre-race conditioning, saw several horses clock impressive timings across varied distances, drawing attention from trainers and racing enthusiasts alike.

Over the 600-metre segment, Lighting Spear (ridden by Shahrukh) completed the distance in a relaxed 42 seconds. Winter Sun (Peter) and Vrihati (S.J. Sunil) finished together in 41 seconds, while Blue Jet (Peter) moved fluently in 40 seconds. Samson (Avinash) also clocked 40 seconds, maintaining a steady rhythm under the guidance of his rider. These performances highlighted the fitness levels of the colts preparing for upcoming races.

In the 800-metre workout, Amelia Earhart and Tranquila (both ridden by Dashrath) finished level in 53 seconds, covering the final 600 metres in 40 seconds. Absolute Serenity (Kaviraj) completed the same distance in 53 seconds, clocking 40 seconds for the final 600 metres and showing good composure. Sequential (Neerah) finished easier in 57 seconds, while House Of Lords (Avinash) was urged on to finish in 55 seconds, covering the last 600 metres in 41 seconds. Acrobatic (Neeraj), Taaqath (Dashrath), and Priority Road (Kaviraj) all completed the workout in 57 seconds, maintaining good pace. Absolute Emperor (app) and Bezalel (S. Kamble) finished level in 56 seconds.

The 1000-metre segment saw Invictor (Bhawani) move well in 1 minute 6 seconds, completing the final 800 metres in 52 seconds and the last 600 metres in 39 seconds. Your Unforgettable (S. Kamble) worked nicely in 1 minute 7 seconds, finishing with strong leg speed. Lucky Diamond (Neeraj) completed the distance in 1 minute 9 seconds, working freely throughout the workout.

At 1200 metres, Enrich, ridden by Yash, impressed with a strong finish, covering the distance in 1 minute 19 seconds. He moved significantly ahead of Golden Heart (Peter), who completed the workout in 1 minute 25 seconds. The standout performance by Enrich suggested he is peaking at the right time ahead of his next race. Madison (app) finished easier in 1 minute 25 seconds.

In the 1400-metre workout, Sanctified (Kirtish) and Zayyan (A. Prakash) moved freely together in 1 minute 39 seconds. Ultimo (Kaviraj) excelled with a time of 1 minute 34 seconds, showing excellent rhythm and stamina over the longer distance. His performance reinforced his status as a horse to watch in future races.

Trainers and racing analysts will closely monitor the progress of Enrich and Ultimo as they continue their preparation at the Bengaluru Turf Club.
