On Sunday, August 30, 2026, officers from the Kadavanthara police station took the two men into custody after a woman reported receiving a fake bomb threat call late Saturday night. According to police sources, the threat was called in to a residential number in Kadavanthara around 11:30 PM on August 29. The caller, who allegedly used a disguised voice, claimed that a bomb had been planted in a public area and would explode imminently. However, no explosives were found during subsequent searches.
