Liverpool have finalized an agreement to sign France forward Bradley Barcola from European champions Paris Saint-Germain in a high-profile transfer deal worth up to 123 million pounds ($166 million), according to media reports. The 23-year-old attacker will become the latest major addition to new Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola’s squad as the English club adjusts to life following the departure of star forward Mohamed Salah.

According to a report from the BBC, the 20-time English champions will pay a guaranteed package worth 106 million pounds ($143 million) to secure the French winger. The deal includes performance-related add-ons that could see the total transfer fee rise by an additional 17 million pounds ($23 million). The Athletic reported that Barcola is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Premier League side.

Barcola leaves Paris Saint-Germain after a highly successful stint in the French capital. The forward joined PSG in 2023 from his boyhood club, Olympique Lyonnais, and had two years remaining on his contract before the deal with Liverpool was struck.

During his time with PSG, Barcola achieved significant success on both the domestic and continental stages. He featured in 152 matches in all competitions for the French giants, contributing 39 goals and 37 assists. His trophy-laden spell in Paris included back-to-back UEFA Champions League victories in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, three consecutive Ligue 1 titles, and two French Cups.

The French international represents another significant reinforcement for Iraola, who took over as Liverpool manager ahead of the new campaign. Barcola follows several other close-season additions at Anfield, including Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo on loan, French center-back Jeremy Jacquet, and Spanish forward Victor Munoz.

Barcola's arrival adds depth to Liverpool's attacking options, which have been restructured following Salah's exit and a long-term injury to forward Hugo Ekitike. The 23-year-old joins an attacking group that currently features British record signing Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo, young prospect Rio Ngumoha, and fellow new arrival Munoz.

Liverpool are preparing to return to domestic action this weekend when they host Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
